The Peggy Herman Neuroscience Center at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center provides advanced, world-class care for conditions affecting the brain, nervous system and spine 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The center offers a full range of emergency, diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention services, including rapid treatment for stroke through its Primary Stroke Center. The multidisciplinary care team includes neurologists, neurosurgeons (in collaboration with the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF), nurses and rehabilitation specialists, and the center uses advanced imaging and technology to diagnose and treat a wide range of neurologic conditions.
